Abstract

Quick Response (QR) codes are the two dimensional barcodes which store a large amount of data in the form
of black square modules (dots). They connect physical objects with digital world by providing links to videos,
websites and maps. Use of QR codes saves time, energy, paper and enhances the learning process. The purpose of
this review is to provide information about structure, types and applications of QR codes in dentistry
